Any plastic material exposed to the elements will, with time, suffer deleterious effects due to UV rays, temperature fluctuations, and so on. To counterbalance that, this outdoor brochure holder has infused, in the production stage, a UV inhibitor that will dramatically slow the effects of the elements. So in saying that, this brochure holder has been designed for use outdoors, and the uniquely designed hinged lid will minimise any water from rain or sprinklers, for example, from entering.

This hinge is made from silicone rubber, making it extremely tough. It allows the lid to be opened easily for the removal of brochures, and when closed, it helps form a waterproof seal around the top of the dispenser. The lid of this brochure dispenser also has a small protruding tab to assist with its opening. As well, the top of the lid is frosted and has the words "Please Take One" inscribed on it to encourage potential customers to remove a leaflet.

The rear of this waterproof brochure holder has a set of keyholes for mounting. This allows two screws to be fastened to the surface onto which the brochure dispenser is to be mounted, and the dispenser can be hooked onto these screws and removed easily.

This type of leaflet dispenser is commonly used by real estate agents to present customers with an information leaflet relating to the property they are promoting. It's also not uncommon to see the dispenser used by retailers, cafes, restaurants, etc. to offer passing customers a copy of their menu or promotional catalogue.
